BYOC² stands for "Build Your Own Community" and "Buy Your Own Coffee." BYOC² is a flexible, low-key, and informal time for various Grant County professionals to meet, mingle, and converse together. 

The vision of BYOC² is to foster connectivity amongst community members, encourage local community investment, provide information on existing local resources, and propel local business startups, expansion, and retention. Members of the Grant County Economic Growth Council, Marion-Grant County Chamber of Commerce, Main St. Marion, Marion Design Co., The Refinery, and many more local organizations are consistently present during BYOC². 

BYOC² occurs the first Wednesday of each month from 7am to 9am @ Abbey Coffee Co. (1500 S Western Ave, Marion, IN 46953)! Grab a co-worker, employee, or a friend and head to Abbey Coffee Co. anytime between 7am to 9am to drink coffee and meet your community!

Kindness Rally

The 7th annual Kindness Rally will celebrate the power that kindness has to change our schools, our community, and the world! This event is open to the entire community, and we hope YOU will join us!

Highlights include Chain Reaction Ceremony; annual Kindness Awards; Kindness Chain Parade; and of course a carnival with bounce houses, games, a photo booth, food, and more!

The Kindness Rally is set for 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2019, at the Marion High School gym. Tickets to be used for the carnival attractions can be purchased from any Marion PK-8 school office in advance for five for a $1, and will be available at the door for four for $1; proceeds will fund continuing anti-bullying efforts throughout the school system.

The Chain Reaction Ceremony is set for 5:30 p.m. (Doors open at 5 p.m.)

The carnival will begin immediately after the ceremony.
